The Art of Connecting

The Art of Connecting looks at how we connect with God and with others. This 7-week course aims to equip your young people to effectively and honestly tell their ‘story’ and share their faith with their friends.
3-Story Evangelism is a very natural way to share Jesus with your friends, family and those involved in your life. It is all about listening to ‘their story’, sharing ‘your story’ and telling ‘God’s story’.

My Story
You have a story of your life so far which is of real value. You better believe it! As you get to know each other, your friends will want to find out more about you. As you grow in your friendships and talk of your relationship with Jesus, they will begin to see the difference that this relationship makes in your life.

Their Story
As you learn to listen to your friends and ask good questions, you will connect deeper with your friends and recognise how to share Jesus with them. In showing you care and value them, you earn the right to share your story.

God’s Story
In knowing and sharing your story, this will lead directly into you sharing God’s story. This will give others the opportunity to hear and think about the greatest story ever told and make an informed decision for themselves

The Art of Connecting is about realising the Value of My Story, God’s amazing Story and Their Story – the stories of other people. The course enables young people to adopt great listening skills, go deeper into knowing more of God’s story, see the value of their own and others stories and change their relationships forever.
