Youth
for Christ has been operating in the north east of England for over
40 years, with a commitment to taking the Good News relevantly to
young people. Over recent years, YFC North East (formerly Tyneside
YFC) have built upon the foundations laid by others in becoming
one of the largest
YFC Centres in Europe. In partnership with local
churches this organisation
is privileged to be able to communicate
the relevance of Christ to
thousands of young people across the
region each week.
Being
able to meet young people on their own unthreatening territory
shows
us that many have a hunger for God. YFC North East are therefore
continuing to develop outreach opportunities through Rock Solid
/ RS2 / Mettle groups, Dependance School Missions, Young Offenders
Prison work, IXth Hour, Harvest and other large scale youth events
such as NE1.
